The Pearl South Pacific Resort hosted a congregation of Hunters of the Deep. The Organizers of the International Gamefishing Tournament saw the registration of 18 Vessels, and over 70 eager anglers, among the lot, Team Riviera's "Opulence" and "Riviera One" dropped in to compete in the IFGA Tournament.

The Fishing Tournament spanning over 3 days saw a hype of action out on the water.
Capt. Patrick Kapena Nelson, who has fished in tournaments from Hawaii, Mexico, Australia and now Fiji, kept close watch on the performances of both Ship and Crew of the Opulence and Riviera One
As Vulagi (Guest) Anglers on the Pacific Harbour turf, Riviera One and Opulence drove hard into the deep waters of south Benga and Vatulele islands hauling in a total of 32 fish including Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi-Mahi and Fiji’s world renowned big Wahoo's.The Fishing Tournament spanning over 3 days saw a hype of action out on the water.

Riviera One’s 15 year Old Matthew Cook son of Adrenalin Fiji and Riviera Fiji dealership owner Paul and Zdenka Cook, won the Junior Angler Award, and assisted the Riviera One to secure the Overall 2nd place in the Tournament.
The 57' Riviera "Opulence" took out Fourth Place out of 18 boats fishing .
Riviera Fiji, which is Fiji's newest Yacht dealership was the major sponsor for this tournament along with Shimano Fishing tackle. They are planning stages of another sponsored tournament in Denarau, Nadi at the end of the year.
